What is AI data licensing?
It means giving an AI company permission to use agreed parts of your business data in return for payment. The data can help train or test AI. A written agreement says what the buyer can use, for how long and how you get paid. You are not selling your company.
What does Maryah do?
We help you work out what data you have, find interested buyers and compare offers. You decide whether to accept a deal. Depending on the offers available, you can choose a one-time payment or a share of income from future licensing deals.
How much is our business data worth?
It depends on what buyers need and what you have: your industry, the amount and age of your data, how complete it is and whether you have permission to share it. Cleaning and preparing the data also affects the price. Our intake does not give a price. We review your details, approach suitable buyers and show you any offers in your account.
Which businesses should apply?
We are looking for businesses with more than 30 employees, at least three years in business and records in English. Other languages are welcome alongside English. We still review each business before approaching buyers, and an offer is not guaranteed.
Do we need to upload data or connect our tools?
No, not to complete the intake. If you go further, we ask how much data you have, how far it goes back and for screenshots with private details hidden. Your data is only transferred after you agree to a buyer deal.
Can we choose a one-time payment instead of revenue share?
Yes. Tell us whether you prefer one payment or income as future deals happen. You can compare both if both are available. One-time payment means agreeing a price and payment date. Revenue share means receiving an agreed share of money from licensing deals, with no guaranteed total or timing.
